Jeff has over forty years experience in Aviation and thirty years business, engineering and maintenance management experience in a variety of positions. This includes 25 years operations and technical management in the Royal Australian Air Force, and establishing Ball Solutions Group in Australia in 1996 and growing it to $26m and 200 people in 6 years. He established KoBold Group in 2003 and is a strong advocate of the Professional Technical Services industry and the people who work in it.
Jeff is a Chartered Professional Engineer, and a Fellow of Engineers Australia. He sits on the Management Board of the Ipswich Arts Foundation, and has served on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Queensland University of Technology and as a director of the Defence Teaming Centre in South Australia.
General Manager, KoBold Services & Business Development
Michael has over 40 years of experience in Defence, business development and managing large complex programs.
Michael is a former member of the Australian Army with various appointments in command, brigades, training, headquarters and capability development. His speciality in Defence was logistics and combat service support. His last appointment was as Director Land Support Development in Capability Development Group.
Michael’s commercial experience is in developing and managing large complex portfolios for the Defence domain. He worked for Sinclair Knight Merz and Computer Sciences Corporation Australia in account general manager roles, prior to joining KoBold Group.
Michael has a Bachelor of Professional Studies (UNE), Masters in Defence Studies (UNSW) and an Executive Masters of Business in Complex Project Management (QUT).
Chief Financial Officer
Tim has over 20 years experience in the management accountancy of Professional Service firms. He has had specialist training in the areas of Human resources, Quality Assurance and Insurance. Tim has an Associate Diploma of Business – Accounting.
Tim’s previous experience includes Finance Director of PDT Architects and Business Manager for Ashburner Francis Consulting Engineers. Tim has also spent time in the manufacturing and accounting industries and provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to KoBold Group.
HR Manager & Quality Manager
Christine has been with KoBold Group for over 12 years, and fills a number of roles in the organisation. She is the Human Resource Manager and is responsible for talent acquisition and welfare management of all KoBold Staff. She is also the Quality Manager, focused on maintaining our ISO 9001 certification, including undertaking internal audits and managing the Quality Management System. Christine is also responsible for the preparation of all KoBold bids and tender responses, and the maintenance of our website and internal knowledge systems.
Prior to joining KoBold Group, Christine worked for Unisys Australia for 17 years, as a Project Manager and Management Consultant, with a particular interest in Organisational Change Management. She is an accredited trainer, and facilitated many training courses for the organisation, in both technical and professional development subjects.
Christine holds a Master of Business Administration, with a double major in Human Resource Management and Project Management.
Business Manager, KoBold Services Brisbane
Mark has over 30 years of experience in maintenance management, logistics management, project management and complex contracting in both the aerospace and ground based mechanical equipment domains. Mark has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
As a former member of the Royal Australian Air Force, and having performed many projects for the Australian Defence Force, civilian aviation companies and general industry over the past 30 years, Mark has a deep understanding of Defence and aviation processes and systems. He also has excellent problem solving ability across an extensive range of technical, logistics, business management and personnel management disciplines.
Business Manager, KoBold Services Sydney
Kwon has over 14 years in Operations and Project Management experience. He is a certified PRINCE2 practitioner with proven experience as a strategic, as well as tactical, manager. Kwon has established a long track record of delivering results in complex projects.
He applies Operation Management skills across the dimensions of strategic needs analysis, design, control and delivery to yield tangible results across the business objectives. Kwon is able to lead teams on Defence, commercial and industrial projects, exercising the highest professional standards and leadership. He delivers results across all facets of operations and project cycles. Kwon is an excellent communicator and relationship manager, able to participate in complex negotiations and able to manage all stakeholder expectation, and is capable of leading in a complex multi-cultural and multi-disciplined environment.
Business Manager, KoBold Systems
Chris has over 15 years of experience in software projects in developer, architect and management roles in both the aerospace and commercial domains. Chris has a Masters of Information Technology (Information Systems) from Queensland University of Technology.
Having worked on legacy mainframe systems to modern cloud-based solutions, he is passionate about delivering quality solutions regardless of technical constraints. His core focus is developing our talented software team.
